Zimbabwean prophet says God has postponed Mugabe's death + he'll rule till he's 100- wife

A Zimbabwean prophet and leader of Remnant Pentecostal Church, Patrick Phillip Mugadza who said President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe will die on October 17, has God has postponed his death to a later date.

The prophet in a recent interview with Bulawayo24, claimed he has received 'a fresh message from God postponing President Mugabe’s death until a later date in the future.

“About three days ago, I received word from God saying the death of President Mugabe has been postponed to a later date which is not specified,” Pastor Mugadza said.


In January, the controversial prophet prophesied that President will die on October 17, 2017 - claiming that God revealed this to him on the 26th of December last year while he was praying.

93-year-old president Mugabe has been ruling for over 30 years, is considered Africa's longest serving president.

Mugadza was subsequently arrested and jailed for 55 days for his prophecy. He was charged with undermining the authority of the president, then “criminal nuisance” and finally “insulting people of a certain race or religion,” his lawyer told the BBC.

He has since issued another prophesy saying the illing President would only die if he doesn't turn to God.

“He’s admitting to the facts. He says he didn’t lie – that’s a message from God," his lawyer said. Police will have to prove God didn’t say it.”

Robert Mugabe will rule Zimbabbwe until he is 100 from special wheelchair, says wife.

Two years ago, wife of Robert Mugabe, Grace, declared that her husband will continue to rule as President of Zimbabwe until he is 100 and that he will be governing from a “special wheelchair.”  She however declined to give details about the proposed wheelchair, but vowed to push it personally.

“We are going to create a special wheelchair for President Mugabe until he rules to 100 years, because that is what we want,” Mrs Mugabe declared. “That is the people’s choice. We want a leader that respects us.”

Zimbabweans will get the chance to vote for a fresh leader 2018. But Mr Mugabe, who has suffered a number of embarrassing public stumbles in the past months, has already been declared as the Zanu-PF candidate despite the fact that he will be 94 at the time of the election.

while the 93-year-old’s mind might be willing, increasingly his body may not be. President Mugabe has recently had trouble walking, as his advanced years begin to catch up with him.
