Churches in US and Europe turned into beer parlours and mosques

A recent research shows that Christian population is decreasing while Muslim population is dangerously increasing at an alrming rate.

In the United States, when churches shutdown or relocate, their buildings can be difficult to repurpose, writes Denison forum. Large stained glass windows and cavernous sanctuaries are hard to make into condominiums. Sometimes, US historic landmark protections also impede renovation - leaving developers with no other option but of 'turning them into beer halls.

In Europe, the trend is even more disturbing: churches are being turned into Islamic mosques. In Dublin, Ireland, the largest central mosque is located in a former Presbyterian church. Numerous churches in Cyprus, England, France, and Germany are now mosques.

Americans are indeed becoming less religious. on the 8th day man created beerSo claims the Church Brew Works in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a brewery housed in a former church building. This is just one of many bars and breweries opening in former churches across America.

Church turned to mosque

We can lament the post-Christian nature of Western civilization, or we can be agents of transformation while there is still time. On our decision rests the future of our culture.

In the Book of Ezekiel, the Lord warned the people of Jerusalem through his prophet saying “they have rejected my rules and have not walked in my statutes”

in Ezekiel 5:6. As a result, he would withdraw his presence in Ezekiel 5:11, and bring his judgment in Ezekiel 5: 12.

God exposed their idolatry (valuing anything or anyone more than God) and warned that they would face his wrath. He saw the sins being committed even in their houses of worship (Ezekiel 8) and the deceit of their leaders (Ezekiel 11:1–13), prophets (Ezekiel 13), and elders (Ezekiel 14:1–11).

In the face of such impending judgment, God called Ezekiel to be a “watchman” for his people (Ezekiel 3:17a) with this charge: “Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me” (v. 17b). Ezekiel was sent to them as an example of godliness and a spokesman for God.

Religion statistics in the United States

Christian population is decreasing while Muslim population is dangerously increasing.

A recent resarch showed that fewer people in the U.S. are identifying with a religion, as the global population becomes increasingly religious and Muslim.

The studies also showed that the world's religious landscape is undergoing a major restructuring and that the percentage of people who identify as non-religious is expected to fall from 16 percent in 2015 to 13 percent in 2060.

In the U.S. alone, the Christian population decreased by nearly 8 percent between 2007 and 2014. Over that same time period, the Muslim population showed an increase.

The number of babies born to Muslim parents will far outpace those born to Christians between 2030 and 2035, the Pew Research Center reports.
Though the Christian population will still be slightly larger than the Muslim population, the Muslim population will see many more births (that will threaten the very existence of Christianity).

The ugly trend is driven by high death rates for Christian populations in some regions, combined with extremely high fertility rates among Muslims.
